Our dogs are crazy. Everyone knows it. Well, anyone who has met our dogs knows it. We take absolutely no responsibility in this matter.
We categorically deny the possibility that this has anything to do with us and our obsessive-compulsive babying and spoiling of our dogs in the absence of having children. In fact, we take the position of the Bush Administration on Global Warming and state condescendingly that you are an idiot for even suggesting such a thing and falling for all those goofy “scientists” and their “facts”.
We’re going for truthiness here. Truth that comes from the gut. Yes. Our dogs are crazy and that’s just the way it is.

We love Seattle. We love it for a lot of reasons, but a major one is the way Seattle works to keep itself accessible and enjoyable without
requiring it’s residents and visitors to pay to do everything. A prefect example of this is the Seattle Art Museum (SAM) Olympic Sculpture Park. Seattle has set aside a considerable portion of valuable sound-side property and turned it into a free (!) sculpture park with breathtaking views of Seattle, the port, Bainbridge Island, Puget Sound, and the Olympic Penninsula and Mountains.
Michelle and I took the dogs down over my lunch break when it was absolutely gorgeous outside and had a really nice walk.

Spring has sprung in Seattle, and the blossoms all over the city are out of control.
One of the upsides of the rainy winter in Seattle is the obnoxiously colorful spring, including entire Magnolia Trees in full blossom. I’m mean, we’re
talking about full blossom. No leaves and what looks like a thousand blossoms on each branch. I mean, when we lived in North Carolina, there were some pretty Magnolia trees, but nothing like this.
This photo album has pictures taken over several days during the early spring all over Seattle: on Capital Hill, the Arboretum, the Japanese Garden, as well as by our house on Phinney Ridge.
Seattle does a great job of putting together amazing places for people to go for free, and the Arboretum is a great example of this, spanning a large area of Seattle from Capital Hill all the way up to Lake Union.
