Cycling is an awesome sport. And although there are sides of it right now that are utterly depressing, there is no other sport as beautiful and demanding as bicycle racing. I was a semi-successful competitive skier for most of my youth, and I had never known how hard you could work in a race until I started racing bikes. I also didn’t know how badly you could hurt yourself doing something “fun”.
Michelle and I both rode a lot before we knew each other, and we picked it up again after we met. We have been riding together for many years now, and we each have bikes that are ridiculously light and, thus, expensive. We have ridden all over the country and even in a few other countries. Every Sunday we watch cycling coverage on Versus and a few weeks ago were delighted to watch Stuey O’Grady win Paris Roubaix in classical style, as well as Alessandro Ballan’s win in the Ronde Van Vlaanderen.
At any rate, my love affair with cycling continues, and over the years I’ve been scouring the web for great high-resolution images of cycling. I welcome you to regularly visit the archive and download any and all of the pictures you like.
